The Alps face major challenges: climate change, loss of biodiversity and the sustainable use of their unique natural and cultural landscapes are concerns for both politics and society alike.
The Alpine Convention is an international political network comprising eight states and the EU that is committed to the protection and sustainable future of the entire Alpine region. Together with the German Environment Agency (UBA), the Youth of the German Alpine Club (JDAV) is creating a unique opportunity over the next two years for young people to contribute their perspectives more actively to the political processes of the Alpine Convention.
