At the end of September, 18 young people from Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovenia came together to develop a shared vision for meaningful youth participation in the Alpine Convention. During two intensive days, they discussed the future of the Alps and adopted a Mission Statement for the Project Group "Youth in the Alpine Convention".
The statement outlines how young people want to contribute to a sustainable, resilient and biodiverse Alpine region, strengthen youth participation, and bring their perspectives into the processes of the Alpine Convention.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this inspiring weekend and to our partners for the valuable exchange and their support throughout the workshop.
